Manchester members attend May media briefing

ISBA members turned out for a busy media briefing and workshop in Manchester last week.

On the agenda was an update on the activity of ISBA’s media groups, how they work, the value of member leadership within the groups and how they choose the issues they address. Notably, delegates at the event heard about the outputs of several key workstreams, including the Addressable TV Guide and ISBA’s latest white paper on Attribution and Marketing Effectiveness.

Also, Libby Child at Greengrass Consulting led a workshop on effectiveness culture with insights from its recent research study.

Programmatic Supply Chain Transparency and Unified video measurement were high up the agenda too.

“It was great to see so many members join us to discuss the key issues in media at the moment,” said Clare O’Brien, head of media effectiveness and performance at ISBA, who chaired the half-day event. “There was some lively debate, particularly around effectiveness, and we will continue these conversations with our membership as the year progresses.”

ISBA’s next media update in Manchester is on October 17 2019 and, in the interim, ISBA is holding a briefing in Edinburgh for members on June 19.
