Join us for our first in-person meeting of the year on Tuesday 19th of March 10am – 4pm where our focus will be on Performance. 2023 saw effectiveness as a recurring theme across the ISBA Media Groups. Marketing effectiveness is about improving outcomes from marketing activity. We’ll look at how it presents itself across different areas of marketing, the challenges, and what procurement’s role is in embedding better practices.

10:00   ISBA update on effectiveness  - Effectiveness is a topic raised across most of ISBA’s working groups. ISBA’s media team will run through the priorities set by our members to give Procurement a view on the challenges your marketing colleagues are focussed on in 2024. 

10:30   Performance auditing - Discussion on the evolution of performance auditing and what it means for advertisers.

11:15   R3: Language of performance workshop - How do you talk about performance within your organisation today?

1:30   Briefing for effectiveness - An opportunity to hear from Carl Bratton (Head of Media Effectiveness at DLG) speak to how effectiveness works in practice inside his organisation and to feedback requirements and wishes he often has with procurement teams around the subject.

2:30     PwC: What is the language of savings these days? -  A discussion on what drives savings and commercial benefits for advertisers and how this has changed in recent years. 

3:15     IPA: Partnering for growth - How do you build agency relationships that drive growth for your business? We’ll be joined by Joyce Kelso from the IPA (the trade body representing agencies) to discuss what makes a high-performing agency relationship.
