101: Influencer marketing and social media

An influencer is someone who can sway others’ purchasing decisions through their expertise, authority, or connection with their audience.  With a strong presence on social media and blogs, they share content and engage followers, collaborating with brands to promote products and boost sales.  Social media encompasses a variety of formats, including text, images, videos, and live broadcasts.

Popular platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn allow individuals, brands, and organisations to engage with their audiences, build communities, and promote products or services.  Join us to find out how influencers and social media has become a vital tool for communication, marketing, and brand awareness, influencing trends and shaping public opinion in real time.

We will also be joined by CEO of Leading Social Media agency, The Social Element, Linn Frost and Influencer Expert, Scott Guthrie.
