Ad Net Zero Global Summit

Ad Net Zero, the advertising industry’s initiative to decarbonise ad operations and harness advertising’s power to drive sustainable behaviour change, will hold its second Global Summit on 9 & 10 November. The Summit will be broadcast live from Park Village in London to an international audience. Ad Net Zero supporters will also have the opportunity to attend in person.

It follows the inaugural Ad Net Zero Summit, broadcasted from STV in Glasgow during COP26, which brought together more than 2,000 advertising professionals from around the world.

The Summit will include a view from COP27 on advertising’s role in tackling climate change, insights from advertising professionals from around the world, updates on carbon measurement for all aspects of ad operations, a new certification standard, updated training for advertising professionals, a review of the latest rules and regulations around environmental claims, inspirations case studies and thought leadership to challenge and encourage change.

In addition, the summit will celebrate the first winners of the Campaign Ad Net Zero Awards which will be announced in early November. These awards have been launched in partnership with Campaign to celebrate the advertising industry’s best work helping to build a net zero economy.

A stellar line-up is expected once more for this year’s Summit, following a packed programme last year, where speakers included Sebastian Munden, Ad Net Zero Chair and former EVP & General Manager, Unilever UK & Ireland; Raja Rajamannar, CMCO & President, Healthcare Business, Mastercard; Nicola Mendelsohn, VP Global Business Group, Meta; Mark Read, CEO, WPP and many more.

The summit will run from 9.30am-6pm each day, with the first evening (November 9) offering a drinks reception for supporters to get together and network in-person at Park Village. The morning sessions will be focused on updates for the UK market with international content programmed from 2-6pm each day.
