The State of In-housing report includes exclusive research conducted among brands currently in-housing and brands that do not have in-house experience. The research primarily reflects the views of large organisations, with two-thirds of respondents employing 10,000+ staff.
Covered in this session, the responses from organisations about their perspectives and experiences, discussing the key outcomes from the report, with a specific focus on the following:
- The kinds of capabilities that have been in-housed and why
- What skills brands believe they ought to in-house, and why might it be hard to do so
- The challenges of operational management of in-house capabilities and ways it can be done
- The large gap brands often find between the benefits they expect from in-housing and the reality – and how to minimise this mismatch
- What the future of in-housing looks like
