ISBA/IPA Creative Services Framework Agreement (CSFA)

The ISBA / IPA Client-Agency model terms – Creative Services Framework Agreement* (CSFA) – is an industry standard, useful tool for advertisers and agencies to use when starting a new business relationship.

As the advertising industry works to reduce its carbon footprint, the IPA and ISBA have added a new clause into the CSFA which reminds advertisers and agencies that they have a responsibility to work together to try to reduce carbon emissions from advertising productions. The new clause (23.3) refers the parties to a Scope of Work (attached at the back of the CSFA) which also includes new text and a margin comment that links to a separate guidance document to help them achieve their carbon reduction goals.
