ISBA welcomes the fact that the Government are consulting on the regime for digital market competition, and are focused on dynamism and innovation in the tech sector. When we consider the extent to which advertising now takes place in the digital arena - and the fact that the large platforms operate on the basis of being funded by advertising - it is essential to brand advertisers that the market is open, competitive, and transparent; and that it is regulated by a coherent and principles-based regime.
