We were lucky enough to be joined by Karen Fraser, Senior Director at Ipsos.
After a tumultuous period in politics and with a number of issues from HFSS to online harms continuing to demand our attention, Karen talked through Ipsos’ latest data and insights on the issues of most concern to the public and their likely impact on us as advertisers:
- The current issues of most concern to the public (e.g. the environment and the cost of living) – what people are concerned about now, how these issues are trending, and the impact for brands.
- Trust in government and politicians – the drivers of trust, what is impacting it most strongly, and the impact for brands.
- Health, diet and wellbeing – the trends in this area, what is likely to happen post-pandemic, and what brands can best do to demonstrate their responsibility in a way that will convince consumers and opinion formers.
