The meeting focused on the issue of online harms and the Government’s Draft Online Safety Bill.
We were joined by Katie Morris, Head of the Regulatory Framework Team at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport who discussed what the Bill contains, the intentions behind it, and how it fits in to the wider Online Advertising Review.
We were also be joined by Jonny Shipp, the Executive Chair of the Internet Commission, for his perspective on the legislation and what it means for business and our industry.
